Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the details you send through this website. It follows the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name and email address and, if you give them, your phone number, organisation, the subject of your enquiry, the artwork you name and your message. We also record the date and time and the internet address the enquiry came from, to protect the form from abuse.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to deliver the artwork, commission or service you ask for. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who sees it

Our team and the systems that deliver the enquiry to them. The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any order that follows, and then for the period Kenyan tax and contract law requires.

Artisans and photographs

Artworks are credited to the artisans who stitched them, as in our catalogue. An artisan may ask for a credit to be changed or removed by contacting us.
